John serves as the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at Sequel Advisors. In this role, he oversees the firm’s business operations, financial oversight, FINRA compliance and strategic execution.

John has over four decades of experience as a senior executive in both private and public corporations operating in the manufacturing, distribution and financial sectors. His prior experience also included involvement with several successful multi-hundred million and multi-billion dollar M&A transactions.

John holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA in Business and Finance from the University of Richmond. He serves on several Boards and resides in the Richmond, Virginia area.

John and his wife Margie are likely to be found on a golf course, ski slope, winery or on some other intriguing adventure around the globe.
