Rusty Kruciak is a Managing Director with Sequel Advisors, where he advises business owners on the confidential sale and acquisition of privately held, mid-tier companies, along with valuation, capital markets, and business succession planning. A FINRA-licensed investment banker holding Series 24, 7, 79, and 63 registrations, Rusty brings more than 25 years of multi-sector experience in transaction advisory across private and public entities, with deep specialization in the industrials, manufacturing, and government contracting sectors—the latter supported by an active Secret Clearance (personnel and facility (FCL)) from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).

His career spans senior roles with respected M&A advisory firms including G2 Capital Advisors (Boston, MA) and 2nd Generation Capital (Nashville, TN), family-office and venture capital investing, real estate portfolio management, and operational management consulting for global clients, giving him a rare command of both the financial and operational levers that drive enterprise value.

That perspective is sharpened by firsthand business ownership. Today Rusty serves as President & CEO of Optimized Commercial Solutions, a certified veteran-owned small business (VOSB) he leads across the Southeastern United States offering third-party logistics (3PL) services – experience that allows him to advise clients not only as a banker, but as an operator who has built, run, and grown a business himself.
He began his career as an operator and Division Supervisor in the United States Marine Corps, where he was named Company Honor Man and earned four meritorious promotions across eight-years of uniformed service. Rusty holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee.

Rusty lives in Nashville, TN with his wife and young son. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him cooking for friends and family, traveling, training for his next run, or cheering on the San Diego Padres.
